• Reward offered in Jessica Chamber's murder investigation


    COURTLAND, Miss. (FOX13) - An $11,000 reward is being offered for anyone with information that leads to an arrest in the Jessica Chambers murder case.

    District Attorney John Champion says Crime Stoppers is providing a $1,000 reward and the U.S. Marshal's Office has added an additional $10,000 to that.

    Champion says investigators have pulled more soil samples from the Panola County site where Jessica was killed in the quest for more evidence. The official Autopsy report is due today as well.

    "Somebody knows who did this. Somebody out there needs to tell somebody. I need my baby and I need her killer behind bars," said Lisa Chambers, Jessica Chamber's mother.

    Jessica Chambers was murdered Saturday night in Panola County.

    Support has been pouring in from all over the country as Jessica Chambers' story makes national headlines.

    Donations can be sent "In memory of Jessica Chambers" to the Renasant Bank, P.O. Box 1525 in Batesville, Miss., 38606. You can also send flowers or cards through the Wells Funeral Home in Batesville.

    Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope, MS. The family will receive friends Friday evening, December 12, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Reverend Eric Greggs and Reverend Larry Kilgore will be officiating the service.
