The entire incident was captured on surveillance, according to MPD.

Marilyn Loftin, the general manager of FRS Powersports, told FOX13 the thieves will likely try and sell the ATVs.

“They piece the parts. They can try to sell them on Craig’s list. They can try to sell them to individuals,” said Loftin.

All Terrain Vehicle theft doesn’t happen as much as auto theft.

FOX13′s Greg Coy found that there have been seven ATV theft cases since 2014 and some of them involved criminals acting as a team.

“I was at a meeting yesterday with some other dealers and it happened to several who were in there," said Loftin.

If anyone is spotted on an ATV, police will mostly likely stop them.

ATV’s are not welcomed in Memphis and Nashville because drivers used them for vandalism and others crimes.

Anyone caught driving these stolen ATV’s the drivers will face more problems than just vandalism.

Loftin said she alerted all the fellow ATV dealers in the area about the type of vehicles stolen and their serial numbers so they will double check any vehicles brought in for repairs.

If you have any information about the suspects, call Crime Stoppers at 525-CASH.
