NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A Nashville airport official says no one was injured when a United Airlines flight went off the taxiway before takeoff.

Nashville International Airport spokeswoman Shannon Sumrall says passengers were de-boarded from United Airlines flight 4696 after the incident Friday around noon. Sumrall says the nose gear of the plane went just off the taxiway into a grassy area.

She says the incident was unrelated to the wintry mix falling over middle Tennessee.

Nashville International Airport Fire and Rescue team responded to the incident.
