Trina Parks, an actress who was famous for appearing in the James Bond classic “Diamonds Are Forever” with Sean Connery, said the car was crushed two days after it was stolen from her southwest Atlanta apartment complex, the news station reported.

Shahid Nasir was arrested and accused of fraudulently selling the car to SA Recycling in East Point, WSB-TV reported. Police are still looking for Willie Stantley, the man accused of stealing the car.

Parks said her 1999 Saturn SL1 was parked at her apartment complex on July 30 when Stantley, a 73-year-old who had been staying with her as a house guest took it.

Parks said she didn’t file a police report right away because Stantley had health issues. When Stantley failed to return, however, she reported the car stolen, WSB-TV reported.

Parks said authorities tracked the car to the recycling plant and, when she called the facility, a plant official told her the car had been crushed.

“I said, ‘How can the car be crushed when I had it on a stolen car report?’” she said.

A representative for the recycling plant said the car had been purchased legally and it wasn’t reported stolen at the time. No title is necessary to sell a car if it is more than 12 years old, WSB-TV reported.
