• Amber Alert extended to South Carolina for missing Georgia girl

    EVANS, Ga. - Calah Noel Waskow was last seen in Evans, Georgia, near Augusta, and is in extreme danger as her accused abductor is wanted on child molestation charges, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.

    Jason Arlis Johnson, 37, was last seen in a tan 1998 Ford Crown Victoria with a South Carolina license tag number KVJ-240. He may have abducted the girl Sunday.

    The alert was originally issued Thursday.

    Anyone with information is asked to call the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office at 706-541-2800.
