SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A Texas man is not expected to face charges after San Antonio police said he fired on a suspected “peeper” he found lurking outside his 17-year-old daughter’s bedroom window.
The incident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. EDT Wednesday on the city’s northwest side, KSAT-TV reported.
According to police, the man’s daughter caught someone staring at her through her bedroom window, and she immediately left her room and told her father, KENS-TV reported.
The father told police that he went outside and caught the man near his daughter’s window but said the “peeper” lunged at him with a knife, at which point the father fired several shots at the suspect, the TV station reported.
Investigators found neither any traces of blood nor victims suffering gunshot wounds and do not believe the father injured the interloper, KENS reported.
The suspect is described as being in his 30s with a beard.
