Therapy dog ‘rescues’ donated baby doll

Donated baby doll ‘rescued’ by therapy dog

A therapy dog’s work is never done.

Ben, Franklin Police Department’s therapy dog, made sure a “baby in a carrier” was in a safe place.

The (adorable) problem was, the “baby” was a doll in a toy carrier that was supposed to be donated, ABC News reported.

Video of the pooch stealing away with his treasure was posted on the department’s Facebook page this week.

We learned an extremely valuable lesson today. When you have a classroom full of toys ready to be shipped off to the Santa Foundation, you should... 1. Close the door to the classroom Or 2. Keep the toys elevated If not, a golden retriever will slowly hoard them throughout the day and bring them back to his lair. Thanks to Officer Cusson for capturing this larceny on camera.
