2 suspects arrested for attempted murders in Memphis, according to U.S. Marshals

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two Memphis fugitives have been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Task Force.

Anton Dyer and Lecarlos Spearman were arrested for attempted first-degree murder in unrelated crimes.

On April 25, 2020, a woman was stabbed multiple times near the 900 block of Gaiter Park, according to a release from the U.S. Marshals.

On Dec. 10, a warrant was issued was Lecarlos Spearman for the crime.

One Nov. 29, a man was shot and wounded near the intersection of I-240 and Poplar.

On Jan. 5, an arrest warrant was issued for Anton Dyer for the crime.

According to the release, Dyer was tracked to a home near the 2500 block of Pershing on Jan. 12.

He was arrested without incident.

Later that day, Spearman was found at an apartment in the 400 block of Tillman.

He was arrested without incident, according to the release.
