NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee has extended the deadline for driver’s licenses and permits that are set to expire.
All Class D, M, PD, PM and ID licenses that expired between March 12 and June 29 will be delayed to expire November 15, according to the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security.
This does not apply to people with Class X licenses.
Handgun carry permits set to expire between March 12 and June 30 will be delayed to expire November 15 also, according to TDS.

To renew online or order a duplicate with the updated expiration date, visit e-Services.
If you choose not to renew online or order a duplicate license, download and print the extension letter below from the Department to keep with your expired license until you renew.
