Germantown students to begin receiving free meals
Students at Germantown Schools can begin receiving free breakfast and lunch today through a USDA program.

GERMANTOWN, Tenn. — Students at Germantown Municipal schools can begin receiving free meals today.

Meals include breakfast and lunch, and will be served through December 2020, according to a release from the Germantown Municipal School District.

The program is for students 18 years old and younger.

Both in-person and remote-learning students are eligible, according to the release.

Students must provide their meal ID numbers.

The free meals do not include a la cart items (bottled water, chips, etc.) or second meals.

Funds must be added to a students' meal account in order to purchase a la cart items.
