MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Water is available Wednesday for pick up in Memphis.
Thousands are still under a boil water advisory following last week’s winter weather.
Days of below-freezing temperatures caused water pressure issues. Now warmer temperatures have also caused more pipes to burst.
Thousands of MLGW customers are now still without water.
Water can be picked up Wednesday beginning at 3 p.m. at 2369 Elvis Presley Blvd. according to Champion’s Pharmacy and Herb Store. TVA is sponsoring the water giveaway.
Bartlett Baptist Church is offering residents of the areas affected by the current Memphis Light, Gas, and Water Boil Water Advisory an opportunity to fill up containers with clean drinking water between 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The church is located at 3465 Kirby Whitten Pkwy.
