Local church to host COVID-19 drive-thru testing this weekend

Coronavirus: These states now require you to wear masks in public

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Health Center, Inc. has partnered with Greater Imani Church to provide COVID-19 drive-thru testing this weekend.

The testing will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the church, located at 3824 Austin Peay Hwy., Memphis, according to a press release.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of MHC, Willeen W. Hastings, “In keeping with our mission, we are doing everything we can to help control and contain the impact of COVID-19. Screening and testing as many people as possible to identify positive individuals and provide the appropriate care as needed for all people in our community is our ultimate goal.”

No appointment is needed to get a test, but registering is encouraged.

Anyone needing a test can call 901.261.2042 to answer a series of screening questions.
