MAS seeks foster homes for pets as colder weather moves through the Mid-South

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — As winter weather moves into the Mid-South this week, Memphis Animal Services is anticipating a great number of service requests as citizens call to report animals that are left out in the cold.

This could mean an increase in intake at the shelter.

MAS needs an equal increase in those willing to help foster and adopt pets to make room for incoming animals.

MAS is currently running two promotions for potential fosters and pet parents.

Save a Sweetheart: $20 adoptions through Valentine’s Day is offering just $20 adoption fees now through February.

Foster February helps MAS in its goal to send two dogs to a foster home every day. Around 15% of the group’s dog population is currently in foster homes.
