Memphis Tigers reshuffle final three conference games after COVID-19 postponements
The Memphis Tigers know now when games canceled by COVID-19 will be made up.

Memphis, Tenn. — The Memphis Tigers now know what the last leg of their football schedule in the AAC will look like after COVID-19 cases at the UofM and other colleges caused games to be postponed.

The American Athletic Conference announced that the Tigers game against Navy is now set to kick off Saturday, Nov. 28 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

The Memphis vs. Navy game was originally slated for Nov. 14 but was postponed after positive COVID-19 cases within the Naval Academy.

In order to play the game against Navy, Memphis’ matchup against Tulane which was originally scheduled for Nov. 28 has been pushed back to December 5.

A make-up date for the Tigers contest against Houston has also been set.

Memphis and Houston were originally scheduled to take the field on September 19 but was called off after a COVID-19 outbreak within the Memphis Tigers team.

The rescheduled game will take place at Liberty Bowl Stadium on December 12.
