Memphis Walmart robbed at gunpoint, police say

Memphis Police are asking for help finding a man they said entered a Walmart in Hickory Hill, pointed a gun at a teller at the check-out and forced them to give him money.

Police said it happened around noon on Thursday at 2856 Hickory Hill Road.

The amount of money the thief took is unclear, but he was seen running towards Enclave Home apartments after the robbery.

Police believe the man is between 25 and 35 years old and around 5-foot-8, 190 pounds.
