Memphis, Tenn. — UPDATE (2/2/21):
U.S. Marshals arrested Broderick Wright for Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Burglary Tuesday evening after he was located in Evansville, Indiana.
U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announced the arrest.
Wright is accused of breaking into his estranged wife’s house and threatened to kill her in front of her children on January 21. The next day, he allegedly broke into her house again and strangled her.
Warrants for Wright’s arrest were issued on January 26.
The U.S Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force found Wright and took him into custody without incident in Evansville.
“It is my understanding that the suspect in this case allegedly caused a great deal of terror to his victim,” said U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller. “The Marshals Service does its work for the victims of violent crimes.”

Memphis Police are looking for a man who allegedly terrorized his estranged wife.
According to police, Broderick Wright broke into his estranged wife’s house and threatened to kill her in front of her children on January 21.
Police said Wright returned the next day, broke in again and strangled her.
Wright then stole her handgun and fled in a black truck, according to MPD.
A little over a week after the crimes reportedly happened, authorities are asking for the public’s help to bring him in.
Police issued warrants for Wright’s arrest including aggravated assault and aggravated burglary.
