Memphis police searching for 4 suspects in connection with local business robberies

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police need help identifying several suspects in a recent string of burglaries at local businesses.

On Jan. 26, officers responded to an alarm call at the Marathon gas station at 3174 Elvis Presley Blvd.

Four suspects inside a newer model Chevrolet Silverado backed into the front door of the gas station and stole cigarettes and cash, according to MPD.

All four suspects fled in the Silverado.

The truck was stolen during a robbery, according to MPD.

On Jan. 27, officers responded to an alarm call at another gas station, the Flash Market at 1672 E. Holmes Rd.

Four suspects inside a Silverado backed into the front door of the business and stole cigars and cash.

According to MPD, one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

Later that day, officers responded to an alarm call at the R&S Food Mart at 565 E. Holmes Rd.

Four suspects inside a Silverado attempted to break into the business.

The suspects put a chain on the front door and attempted to pull the doors open, MPD said.

The suspects were not able to get inside.

All four suspects had on dark clothing, hoodies and gloves.

MPD said the same suspects are responsible for all three burglaries.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
