MPD: Toddler pronounced dead in Hickory Hill homicide

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police are investigating after a toddler died at a residence in Hickory Hill.

Officers responded to Tuesday at 11:05 a.m. to the 4000 block of Ridge Drive.

The toddler, a little boy, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Investigators learned he suffered multiple internal injuries.

His death has been ruled a homicide, according to police.

No arrests have been made at this time.
