Memphis, Tenn. — New appointments are available for second doses of COVID-19 vaccines, the Shelby County Health Department announced Saturday.

According to the SCHD, these slots are for anyone who has not already scheduled a second-shot appointment.

Doses of both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be available at the 2355 Appling City Cove site on Monday, February 22.

These appointment slots are not for people who had an appointment that was rescheduled due to weather, SCHD said.

According to the health department, those weather-canceled appointments will be rescheduled for the week of February 23-27 at the location of the originally scheduled appointment at the same time and people will receive an email with the date of their rescheduled appointment.

If you received the first Moderna vaccine after January 28 or the first Pfizer vaccine dose after February 4, you do not need to sign up for one of these newly available second-dose slots, the health department said.
