North Face announces free virtual summer camp for kids

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The North Face today announced the launch of a free virtual summer camp.

According to a press release from the company, the two-week camp will bring together a diverse group of global athletes.

The camp includes both online and offline programming to safely bring the outdoors to kids wherever they are.

According to the press release, the camp will:

• Introduce kids (and parents) everywhere to the wonders of exploration and offer relatable education on a diverse range of topics and skills to spark curiosity and inspire kids during these challenging times.

• Be led by athletes from The North Face global team, including climber, photographer, Academy Award-winning filmmaker and father to two young kids, Jimmy Chin.

• Feature guided offline experiences where kids will be able to test what they have learned and help to forge their own paths to exploration.

Registration beings July 9 for Summer Base Camp, which will start July 20.
