SCHD will give COVID-19 vaccines at SWTCC Whitehaven location this weekend

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Shelby County Health Department will provide vaccinations at the SWTCC Whitehaven Center at 1234 Finley Drive this weekend.

Vaccines will be given Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to a release from SCHD.

In order to make up appointments missed due to inclement weather, patients who had appointments scheduled at SWTCC on Feb. 11 and 12 will be rescheduled to the same time as the original appointment on Saturday, Feb. 20.

Persons with appointments scheduled at SWTCC on Feb. 16, 18 and 19 will be rescheduled to the same time as the original appointment on Sunday, Feb. 21, according to the release.

There is no need to reschedule appointments or make a new appointment.

Appointments scheduled at SWTCC for Feb. 17 will be rescheduled to the same time on Wednesday, Feb. 24.

All other SCHD vaccine sites will remain closed through Sunday.

When they reopen, they will take previously scheduled appointments from this week, according to the release.
