SCS offering parents training for virtual platform

SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — Shelby County Schools is offering online training on the virtaul platform students will use to interact with their teachers.

Training will take place over Microsoft Teams, according to a press release from Shelby County Schools.

Parents can learn how to log in and navigate the system and utilize a number of tools and features.

According to the press release, training is taught by a live instructor this week on Monday and Friday.

There are three training sessions each day.

More training will take place in August.

Sessions last for one hour, beginning at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., according to the press release.
