MEMPHIS,Tenn. — Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland confirmed the location of a second temporary hospital for the coming surge of coronavirus cases.
The old Commercial Appeal building, located at 495 Union Avenue, will be used, the Mayor said.
The building was chosen due to its proximity to hospitals.
The other location to be used as a temporary hospital will be the Gateway Shopping Center on Jackson Avenue.
