Shelby County voters must vote Thursday at assigned precinct, election official says

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Voting polls open at 7 a.m. Thursday in Shelby County for the County General State and Federal Primary Elections.

Voters must vote at their assigned precinct according to their registered address, according to a release from the Shelby County Election Commission.

Voters can visit to find their polling location.

Another site can help voters find their polling location and see what candidates are on the ballot.

Anyone who has requested an absentee ballot cannot vote using a machine, according to the press release.

Polls will close at 7 p.m.

The number for the Election Commission office is 901.222.1200.

The Election Commission has received 15,923 ballots out of 19,440 absentee ballot requests, according to the press release.
