MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Another tax-free weekend began in Tennessee early Friday.
This time, restaurant sales are the focus.
The tax-free weekend began at 12:01 a.m. and will end Sunday at 11:59 p.m.
Food and drink at restaurants and limited service restaurants will be exempt from sales tax during this time.
Sales tax holidays let shoppers buy certain items at face value.
Tax-free weekends are typically held around the back-to-school season from late July into August.
