NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Human Services announced a virtual resource fair for job seekers today.
The resource fair will provide job seekers with employment opportunities and education resources through online videoconferencing, according to a press release.
The event will take place today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Participants should register by 10 a.m. through the TDHS website.
Job seekers will be given information on how to take part in online meetings with participating employers and organizations.
Meetings will be arranged through a TDHS web conferencing system that job seekers can connect through their computer or cell phone, according to the press release.
Some of the employers who have signed up to participate include Speedway, Goodwill Industries of Knoxville, MasterCorp Hospitality, P.L. Marketing and the University of Tennessee.
The virtual resource fair continues a statewide effort TDHS began in 2017 to connect people with jobs and resources in their community.
