Third suspect charged in shooting that injured 4-year-old girl, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police said a third suspect has been arrested after a 4-year-old girl was injured during a shooting.

The shooting happened outside a home on Dunn Ave March 4.

Four suspects shot into the home from the street. A Molotov cocktail was also thrown at the home.

Donyaveus Betts, 18, was arrested after being identified during a photo lineup.

Brittany Dang, the sister of another suspect in the case, told police she saw Betts armed with an assault rifle inside a vehicle at the time of the shooting.

Betts has been charged with 14 counts of Attempted First-Degree Murder.

His bond has been set at $150,000. He is scheduled to appear in court today.
