TN voters can drop off mail-in ballots through Election Day

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Tennessee voters can now drop off their mail-in ballots at designated post offices until 3 p.m. on Election Day.

According to the ACLU, Election Commission officials will collect ballots after 3 p.m. on Nov. 3.

The expedited drop-off locations will still require a stamp and an envelope.

In Shelby County, the expedited location is at the Bartlett Post Office, located at 2966 Elmore Rd.

More than 20,000 people have already mailed in their votes in Shelby County, according to the Shelby County Election Commission.

Tuesday was the last day to request an absentee ballot in Tennessee.
