MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two teenagers were hit by a car last night at Alice Avenue and Frank Circle.
According to police, a Kia Sorrento was traveling eastbound on Alice Avenue when it hit the pedestrians.
They were crossing the street in a poorly lit area with no crosswalk.
The driver of the Kia said she never saw the pedestrians, according to police.
A witness said she and the pedestrians were attempting to run across the street, and did not see the car.
A 16-year-old was taken to LeBonheur in non-critical condition.
The other pedestrian, 19, was taken to Regional One in critical condition but was downgraded to non-critical, according to police.
No citations were issued.
