WATCH: Violent morning in Memphis leaves three dead, four injured

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three people are dead and four more were injured after a violent Sunday morning in Memphis.

The deadly incidents spanned just nine hours.

It just started just after midnight in the 3400 block of Invergarry in Raleigh. Three people were shot, one of them a 16-year-old girl who died. Memphis police say the two others left the scene in critical condition.

Just a half-hour later, in South Memphis in the 300 block of E. Trigg Avenue, a man was shot at a rooming house. Memphis police said the victim told them two men entered his room and took his cash before shooting him. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

At 2:15 a.m., just 45 minutes later, police said a man was shot at the Reserve at Mt. Moriah apartments in Hickory Hill. He, too, was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

At 4 a.m. Memphis police responded to the Memphis Towers, a low-income elderly community Downtown. Police said someone was stabbed to death in a domestic violence situation there. A man was detained in that case.

Rounding out the deadly morning, around 9 a.m. FOX13 received a call from a viewer who said a man was lying dead on Graceland Drive in Whitehaven.

Witnesses and the Memphis Fire Watch Commander told FOX13 someone was pushed from a second-story window at the Peppertree Apartments. Memphis police called it a fatal shooting. That case is still under investigation.

Memphis police only have two suspects in custody.

On top of all the crime, there was a deadly crash in Memphis.

At 1:30 in Berclair, a driver killed in a crash at Chelsea Avenue and McNair Street. Police say the victim veered off Chelsea and hit a tree. The passenger is also listed in critical condition.
