Woman dead after accident in East Memphis, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police are working an accident at Kirby Parkway and Winchester Road.

A car struck a pole, according to police.

A woman died in the accident.

A man was taken to Regional One in critical condition, according to police.
