25 arrested during undercover drug operation in Tipton County

A year-long undercover narcotics operation led to 25 arrests this week in Tipton County.

The Tipton County Sheriff's Office said undercover investigators purchased prescription pills, cocaine, crack cocaine, meth, and marijuana.

The information was provided to a Tipton County Grand Jury on November 8 and began serving secret indictments for a round-up on November 10.

Those arrested include:

  • 37-year-old Jessie Williams of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule II
  • 27-year-old Derek Williams of Atoka, charged with Delivery of Schedule II, unrelated warrant for probation violation
  • 27-year-old Kirsten Megan Townsend of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule II
  • 65-year-old Ana Summar of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule II (two counts)
  • 68-year-old Peggy Swords of Burlison,charged with Delivery of Schedule II (three counts)
  • 36-year-old Terrance Somerville of Brighton, charged with Delivery of Schedule II, possession of drug paraphernalia, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of stolen property
  • 53-year-old Belinda Sills of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule III
  • 31-year-old Cetrice Randle of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule II (in Federal custody)
  • 56-year-old Richard "Pinky" Robinson of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule IV (three counts)
  • 38-year-old Lisa Phillips of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule IV (two counts)
  • 39-year-old William McKenzie of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule II, unrelated child support warrant
  • 38-year-old David Jones of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule II
  • 66-year-old Jimmy Holland of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule II (two counts)
  • 60-year-old Roy Harvey of Covington, Delivery of Schedule II drug free zone (two counts)
  • 40-year-old Jennifer Harris of Brighton, charged with possession of Schedule II with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia
  • 44-year-old Cassandra Greene of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule II (two counts)
  • 31-year-old Larry Grandberry of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule II (three counts)
  • 43-year-old Tracy Gilliam of Covington, charged with Delivery of counterfeit narcotics
  • 47-year-old Brenda Dyson of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule II (four counts), Delivery of Schedule IV, two unrelated child support warrants
  • 20-year-old Henry Clark IV of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule II
  • 56-year-old Otis Brown III of Covington, charged with Delivery of Schedule II (three counts)
  • 40-year-old Jason Hungerford of Drummonds, charged with possession of schedule II with intent, simple possession marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, Delivery of Schedule II, driving on revoked license
  • 36-year-old Chad Campbell of Burilson, unrelated indictments for aggravated statutory rape, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, criminal exposure to the Hepatitis C virus
  • 36-year-old Antonio Glass of Covington, unrelated warrant for burglary
  • 54-year-old David Lee Taylor of Mason, unrelated warrant for driving on revoked license

12 vehicles were also seized that investigators said were connected to narcotics sales. Tipton County said they also recovered a stolen handgun, drug paraphernalia, and $4,480 in cash.

Additional arrests are expected as the operation draws to a close.
