"I saw some of the police cars out in front and we were walking our dog and we could tell something had happened, but hadn't heard. We've been curious," Erwin said.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office arrived to a home in the 1900 block of Latt Lake Cove Monday night after receiving a call about a home invasion.

Police said the victim met the woman on Craigslist earlier that day.

Police said shortly after the woman enters the house two other men came inside demanding money.

When the victim didn't comply prosecutors said the men shot a pistol into the ceiling.

Police said he victim ran outside with no clothes to a neighbors home.

Erwin said this crime is unusual for the quiet neighborhood.

"The Craigslist thing makes it kind of unique and I hope the next nine years we live here will be like the first nine," Erwin said.

Police found 40 caliber shell casing inside the home and the woman's clothes.

Neighbors said they're not going to live in fear.

"Again wherever you live, it's a little bit scary, but again I hope it's an aberration of something out of the norm," Erwin said.

Police said the woman and the two men left in a white four door Sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
