COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. - The aunt of a Collierville drive-by shooting victim told her story to FOX13.
She only wanted to be identified as “Tay.” She said her nephew is working to recover at Regional One after he was shot in the stomach.
“The doctor said it’s going to be a couple days before we find out if he'll live without a colostomy bag,” she said.
Tay said Jaquarius Douglas, 19, is her nephew. A 16-year-old was also shot according to the Collierville Police Department.
“Right now, he’s doing okay, about as well as we can expect,” Tay said.

Police said the shooting happened around 7:30 Saturday night at the Center Court Apartment Complex in Collierville.
“I’m glad he’s okay,” Tay said. “You know, that’s the main thing with me and my family.”
CPD said the suspect drove away in a blue or black four-door sedan. They said one of the victim’s shot back at the suspect.
