Billy Turner pleads not guilty to murder of Lorenzen Wright

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Billy Turner, the man accused of killing former NBA player and Memphis native Lorenzen Wright, appeared in court Tuesday morning for his second court arraignment.

Turner has hired John Keith Perry Jr. with Perry Griffin PC Attorneys At Law. Perry asked the judge if they could have 60 days to go over the case and be prepared for the next court appearance, but the judge denied that chance.

The judge told Turner he will be back in court Monday, January 29 at 9 a.m.

Turner's lawyer told the judge as well after going over the charges and reading the case, Turner will plead not guilty in the case.
