• City Watch issued for missing, endangered 17-year-old girl


    UPDATE, Monday at 10:55 a.m.: 

    Tapanga has been found safe. 


    Memphis police have issued a City Watch for a missing, endangered 17-year-old. 

    Tapanga Gaston was last seen in the 3300 block of Madewell around 7 a.m. Wednesday. 

    Gaston left her house while her mother took a sibling to school. MPD said she has a mental disorder and is off her medication.

    She is described as bi-racial, 5'9", 220 lbs. with black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing jeans, a hot pink shirt, and black UGG boots.
