MEMPHIS, Tenn — The man who shot and killed another man in a Memphis neighborhood will not be facing charges in connection with the incident, according to officials.
The incident happened on March 17 in the 7100 block of Peppermill Lane.
Deputies said Jamarquis Hamilton, 29, was shot and killed by another man after Hamilton stabbed him.
Hamilton was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other man – who was not identified – was taken to the hospital and survived his injuries.
