A community is grieving the loss of a Memphis doctor and her husband after a fatal motorcycle crash Saturday in Nashville.
Laurie and Mark Baker of Collierville were enjoying a weekend away when they lost control of their motorcycle on I-440 near I-24.
The Metro Police Department said both victims were thrown from the motorcycle. Mark Baker fell into I-24 and was run over by a tractor-trailer.
Dr. Laurie Baker was a physician who worked with the Go Red Program with the American Heart Association.
