A former employee blew the whistle and filed a complaint on January 20, 2017.
The complaint stated hospital body bags were used as casket liners so the rental casket for viewing remains to be cremated could be reused.
The former employee said over 20 remains were removed out of the same casket since July of 2016.
The funeral home was fined $2,000.
The owner, Edmund Ford, was fined $1,500.
