• MATA CEO resigns following arrest for patronizing a prostitute

    The CEO of MATA is stepping down after being arrested for allegedly patronizing a prostitute.


    Ron Garrison cited health reasons in his resignation. However, sources tell FOX13 he was arrested Wednesday for patronizing a prostitute near a church or school.

    The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is holding a Friday releasing information about a human trafficking investigation in Memphis.

    Garrison is being replaced by CAO Gary Rosenfeld until a new CEO can be found.

    Garrison has been CEO since 2014.
