A nationwide day of protest is underway.
Immigrants across the country and here in the Mid-South are boycotting businesses, school and their own jobs.

Some are already putting up the flyers letting their would-be customers know and encouraging others to do the same.
The protest calls for people to boycott shopping at all, opening businesses, and going to school.
Protestors want to send a message to President Donald Trump to show what the country would be like without immigrants.
