Memphis Police Department is investigating after a body was found in a pond Tuesday evening.

The pond is located in the 6800 block of Poplar.
A walker saw discovered the body and notified security at a nearby building.
The cause of death is unknown at this time.
We are digging to learn more as police continue their investigation.
