• Road rage leads to shooting in Shelby County

    SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. - Road rage led to a shooting in Southeast Shelby County.

    Shelby County Sheriff's are on the scene at E. Holmes and Hacks Cross Rd. 

    Officials said the altercation took place after a made in a white SUV fired shots into another man's car.

    The victim then drove himself to Olive Branch where he was found and taken to Regional One.

    The shooter told police the other driver was swerving at him repeatedly. They pulled over near Holmes to settle it. The shooter also told police he thought the other man was reaching for a gun. The victim was shot in the hand and leg.


    The Shelby County Sheriff's Department told FOX13 they have not filed any charges. They are still investigating the shooting.
