Memphis police said a security guard was pushed to the ground by a suspect wearing a cover over his face. That security guard, a 57-year-old woman, was working alone overnight.
“A female getting jumped like that is totally wrong. If there are any men around, they should be apprehensive to resolve that issue,” said one customer who didn't want to be identified.
The guard told police, them the suspect took her gun from her holster and pointed it at witnesses, demanding money.
He left before he was able to get any cash.
MPD said the suspect left in a grey sedan but there isn't much more of a description of that man.
No one is in custody, according to MPD.
