NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Less than 24 hours after giving birth to a baby girl, a Tennessee mother suddenly died.
Nathan and Megan Johnson were initially filled with glee after what their friend, Josh Wilson, described as a smooth delivery.
Wilson said the parents were together with their baby girl Eilee for about 6 hours as the mother held, fed, and burped the infant; moments of joy before things took a turn for the worse.
Meg started having complications between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. and later died.
As friends and family begin to mourn Meg’s death, Wilson has taken on the initiative to help his friend Nathan throughout this difficult time.
Wilson has created a GoFundMe account in efforts to help cover expenses.
The goal is to reach $400,000. If you’d like to donate, click here.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Johnson family at this time.
