MEMPHIS, Tenn. - It is finally official!
The AutoZone Liberty Bowl committee announced Sunday afternoon that the University of Memphis will stay home this season for their bowl game. They will play against the Iowa State Cyclones.
The game will be played Dec. 30 at 11:30 a.m. CT. The game will be televised on ABC.

This will be Memphis' first time playing at the Liberty Bowl for a bowl game. Iowa State is making its third appearance having lost in 1972 and 2012.
Tigers are 10-2 on the season, and the Cyclones are 7-5.
