Two officers injured while chasing pharmacy robbery suspects

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two officers were injured overnight while chasing robbery suspects.

Police said four suspects were leaving the CVS in the 6600 block of Winchester Rd. around 12:15 a.m. when they arrived on scene.

Police chased the suspects. Three of the four were caught.

One was caught behind the farmers market. The other two were caught behind a fire station.

One officer injured his knee in the chase. The other injured his shoulder.

One of the officers was transported to the hospital in non-critical condition.

Officers recovered two handguns and medications taken from the pharmacy.

FOX13 learned one suspect was also transported, but police have not said why or what injury they received.
