A woman who didn't want to be identified said she's tired of the violence in her Batesville neighborhood.
She said a man was shot and killed in her driveway Thursday afternoon.
"It's just really bad because this is the second killing they my son had to see and he's only ten," she said.
According to Batesville Police Chief Jimmy McLoud, police received a call of shots being fired on the 100 block of Bradford around 2 p.m. near Hoskins Road in Batesville, Mississippi.
When officers arrived to the scene they found a man dead in his car.
The witness said she didn't know the victim, but said her friend was sitting in the passenger seat.

She said she didn't see the shooter, but took cover.
"I crawled in my clothes literally crawled and got to safety," she said. "I had to wait till it was clear."
Neighbor Willie Ellis said he knew the victim well, and said he was shocked about the shooting.
"He was a good person," Ellis said. "He used to come around the neighborhood and stuff, but I never heard nothing bad about him."
The woman said she now plans to move.
"I have one son," she said. "I'm raising a man. I'm not raising a boy, I'm raising a man and I want him to be protected at all times."
Neighbors told FOX13 the victim did not live on the street where the shooting occurred.
Police are not releasing the name of the man at this time.
