    The Memphis Police Department is investigating a Friday morning homicide in Orange Mound.

    Officers responded to a shooting call in the 3100 block of Monterrey Square near Semmes and Spottswood around 3:30 a.m. 

    Investigators on the scene tell us a 24-year-old woman was shot and killed. She was pronounced dead on the scene. 

    A neighbor called police after hearing multiple shots. 

    At this time there is no suspect information. 

    The Memphis Police Department has confirmed with FOX13 the city has tied for a record number of 213, which was set in 1993.
