• Woman fights carjacker near Knight Arnold

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A 24-year-old woman is home recovering after she fought off a man wanting to car jack her early Tuesday morning near Knight Arnold.

    Police are still looking for the suspect.

    The woman said the man would open her driver door and force her out of her car, but the woman would continue to hold the steering wheel.

    The woman further stated that she was dragged by the car while fighting off the suspect.

    She continued to fight until she regained control over her car.

    She told us the suspect would run away on Knight Arnold.

    The woman was left badly bruised knees.

    She declined medical attention, according to police.
